A Bit About Me

I believe I was created to nurture life; I've nurtured life in lots of ways in my journey including my roles as a teacher, mother, and (extremely) amateur plant lady. One of the most profound and important ways I seek to cultivate compassion and healing in the lives of others is in my work as a therapist. I believe all people are beautiful and good & have within themselves the inherent capacity for growth and healing. My job is to remind you of that goodness within you, to hold space for all that you bring in, and to be a sacred witness to your story.

I graduated summa cum laude with my bachelor's degree from UT Chattanooga in 2009 as a dual major in Spanish and French. I earned an MA in Spiritual Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2018 and an M.Ed in Couples and Family Counseling from the University of Montevallo in 2023.

In addition to my therapeutic work with clients ages 3 and up, I love to work with youth groups, churches/ministries, schools, and organizations to lead workshops, seminars and retreats on marriage, parenting, relationships and mental health topics. Reach out if you're interested in working with me in this capacity!
